Atrisco-South Valley Farmers and Rancher Community Meeting

Atrisco, NM- A meeting of farmers and ranchers from Atriscos South Valley and Central New Mexico will take place at the South Valley Economic Development Center 318 Isleta Blvd SW.  The community farm and ranch gathering is scheduled for Wednesday August 28, 2019 from 11:30-1:30.

The meeting hosted by National Latino Farmer and Ranchers, Rural Coalition, will include the USDA, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and will engage farmers and ranchers on their operations, conservation plans and how to access USDA programs and resources. Other USDA agencies include: Farm Service Agency and Rural Development.

The Coalition includes diverse family farmers, ranchers, farmworkers, tribal communities, and rural advocates.
